The first is a standard 1080/24p frame packed 3D. The other is mastered as an Ultra-HD Blu-ray to take advantage of content up to 4K resolution & 60 frames per second in side-by-side format. Due to the niche nature of this format (this is the first feature film to be released this way), & due to utilizing a non-standardized UHD on BD-R format, compatibility for disc 2 is not guaranteed on all systems. It is compatible with all BD computer drives & will play back on most 4KUHD Blu-ray players whether they are 3D compatible or not.
